Compliance & assurance
Valtaic's Property Valuation API combines automated residential market-value estimates with traceable results, internal evaluation and controlled releases. This section explains those processes and how to use the output in a professional workflow.
Valtaic develops its valuation models internally. Infrastructure and data-processing arrangements are addressed separately in Data Protection.
Intended Use
The AVM is designed for property investors, developers, landlords, portfolio managers, analysts and organisations integrating valuations into their systems. Intended uses include property research, indicative valuations, acquisition analysis and portfolio monitoring.
The development endpoints support proposed-home analysis through as-complete residential value estimates. Project costs, planning assumptions and financing decisions form part of the customer's wider appraisal.
For mortgage origination, refinancing or other regulated lending, suitability is assessed for the specific institution, release and decision workflow. See Regulatory Use.
Assurance in the API
| Area | What Valtaic provides |
|---|---|
| Traceability | Release, execution and valuation identifiers that connect results to the service output used. |
| Evaluation | Internal historical assessments, segmented analysis, scenario checks and checks that deployed responses match expected behaviour. |
| Result handling | Separate valued, referred, rejected and failed outcomes, with uncertainty information where available. |
| Input transparency | Records of applied stored attributes, ignored inputs and derived values. |
| Controlled access | API keys, operation permissions and account limits. |
| Release operations | Deployment checks, rollback mechanisms and operational alerts. |
These controls support customer due diligence. Suitability and compliance depend on the intended use, applicable requirements and the complete workflow in which an estimate is used.
